Find the Shoe that Fits

by Owner on May 3, 2012

For this week, I propose a new kind of service offered on the website of the company Mizuno, allow the customer to find the right shoe, depending on its weight and type of race. On his way to the site of Mizuno Canada (available at the following address: http://www.mizunocda.com/running ), the test named Find your Perfect Fit will be displayed in the bottom of the page. This test corresponds to a short questionnaire (about 5 minutes) of eight questions. The questions address the status of the foot, the axis of the leg when it is stationary, the impact of the foot during the race, the rotation of the foot, flexibility in the ankle joint, (squatting), the axis of the leg movement in the flexibility test and the little finger. Obviously, weight is also requested. Although the site is in English only, it is possible to make the questionnaire in French or in eight other languages.
When all questions have been answered, an analysis is presented to you:

The service concludes with a Mizuno offers models of running shoes, customized for the user (his results).
Of course, I’m not trying to do a commercial message for the company and the purchase of Mizuno running shoes Mizuno on their web platform. Our entire team continues to believe that there is nothing better than a human contact with a dealer in the race to optimize purchasing racing equipment, including footwear.
However, for those who are hungry for new technologies and perhaps lack of time to get around the store, this online service is still a good option. And for riders who do not shop at new shoes, testing and results are instructive not only on our type of racing, but also fun.
